On July 6th Nordic Iron Ore submitted the environmental application to the Land- and Environment Court in Nacka, Stockholm county, for the restart of the mines in Blötberget and Håksberg with a production of about 2.5 million tons of concentrates per year.
– Having submitted this application we have passed a significant milestone on our way restarting Ludvika Mines. Once we have received the permit from the Land- and Environment Court, we can begin the major construction activities and drainage of the mines. Until then we shall conclude the definite feasibility study (DFS) says CEO Christer Lindqvist.
