History
On 17 October 2011, Nordic Iron invited the public and organizations that may be affected by Ludvika mines to a consultation meeting at Folkets Hus in Ludvika. The consultation was part of the work to develop an environmental impact assessment. The main purpose was to collect questions and views so that the environmental description would be as good and comprehensive as possible.

For you in Ludvika

Nordic Iron is working on several fronts to prepare for the upcoming mining operations. Among other things, control programs are underway for well monitoring where, for example, the level of the groundwater surface is continuously measured to follow the changes before and after the mine has opened. Documentation of ancient monuments and compensation programs for natural values are examples of other areas.
